Izipho Gifts & Promotions · Trading as Barron Africa

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

Izipho Gifts & Promotions operates Barron Africa and is responsible for personal information collected through this store. We are an independent reseller of Barron products. This policy covers our website, customer accounts, orders, artwork and communications with our team.

What we collect and why

  • Account details: your name, email address and a securely hashed password, to provide access to your account.
  • Order details: contact details, company name if supplied, selected products, quantities, branding instructions and collection or delivery details, to process and fulfil your purchase.
  • Artwork and proof records: uploaded files, design instructions, feedback and approvals, to prepare and produce the branding you request. Artwork may contain names or other personal information; only provide information you are authorised to share.
  • Payment records: order references, payment status and amounts, to verify payments and maintain transaction records. Payment details are entered on Paystack’s checkout; this store does not collect or store your full card number or card security code.
  • Technical information: session identifiers, network and security logs, to maintain your cart, keep accounts secure and diagnose problems.

We use information to perform our agreement with you, meet legal obligations and pursue legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention and customer support. Where consent is required for another use, we will request it separately. You do not have to provide optional information. Without the necessary contact, order or artwork details, we may be unable to supply the requested service.

Who may receive information?

Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for the relevant purpose: our order team, hosting and technical providers, Paystack, and suppliers or branding production partners handling your order. If delivery is offered and selected in future, the relevant delivery provider will need fulfilment details. We may disclose records where required by law or to handle a dispute. We do not publish your artwork in a public gallery through the account library.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts and some product images from supplier-hosted services. Your browser contacts these providers, which may receive technical information such as your IP address. Clicking WhatsApp or continuing to Paystack takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Some service providers may process information outside South Africa; applicable POPIA transfer safeguards must be met when we arrange such processing.

Cookies and browser storage

A session cookie supports sign-in, your cart and checkout. Your browser also keeps temporary product quantity selections so they can survive a page reload. The logo preview uses a file locally in your browser; saving artwork to your account is a separate upload. Blocking essential cookies may stop account and checkout features from working. No advertising or analytics tracker is configured in the current storefront.

Retention and security

We retain information for the period reasonably needed to fulfil orders, support customers, meet record-keeping obligations and resolve disputes. Account closure does not necessarily require deletion of records we must legally retain. Contact us to request a retention or deletion review; deletion is not an automatic consequence of signing out.

The store uses password hashing, access checks for private files and accounts, and protected storage. Please keep your login details private and sign out on shared devices. No online system can guarantee complete protection against every risk.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal information, object to applicable processing, or request deletion where permitted by law. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting lawful processing already performed. We may need proportionate identity verification before releasing or changing private records.

Send privacy requests to sales@barron.africa, marked “Privacy request”. You may also raise a complaint with the Information Regulator. Our PAIA page explains the access-to-records request channel.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our services or information practices change and display the revised date. A new policy will not remove rights you have under applicable law.
